The Sr. Healthcare Interior Designer is responsible for maintaining and updating CHLA finish standards, collaborating with project managers, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations while leading design initiatives.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update CHLA finish standards, including furniture, artwork and signages

Independently research, evaluate and select materials, fabrics and furniture as part of maintaining the finishing standards and as new needs arise

Produce schematic finish packages based on CHLA finish standards in support of donor funding opportunities, for approval by end users and enterprise leaders

Develop floor plans, pattern design, nurse stations, elevations, room finishes, etc

Collaborate with the Capital Project Managers and support the capital projects by ensuring design teams have properly used and implemented the CHLA finish standards in construction projects

Assist the various design teams as needed and final review/ approval of the construction documents

Lead specific enterprise initiative projects (wayfinding/ capital renewal) under the guidance of the Director of Planning and Design

Assist in and lead stakeholder meetings and work groups, document objectives and effectively analyze need vs. wants
