Responsibilities
Lead strategic space planning design projects for multiple business segments in support of medium to large scale projects, including building/site consolidations, new construction, and existing space reconfigurations. Manage all project tasks through the Analysis phase of their lifecycle. Align space plans and design with corporate real estate strategies and workplace standards. Space plans include furniture layouts/specifications, equipment layouts, furniture/finish recommendations and branding placement (as needed)
Interface with executive and senior segment leaders to gather space programming requirements and facilitate the presentation, review and approval of strategic space plan recommendations
Responsible for obtaining construction cost estimates and vendor quotes for proposed space plans. Present cost estimates to segment leaders for approval and provide packaged project scope information to support the business case approval process
Partner and coordinate with internal real estate managers, construction managers, move managers, information technology partners and external vendors on the implementation of strategic space planning projects
Manage individual colleague space requests across multiple regions in Huntington’s footprint
Create detailed colleague move plans in support of facility relocation projects
Maintain an expert knowledge base of recent industry trends in space planning/interior design and bring forth new strategic workspace ideas to increase efficiency and utilization of our corporate spaces
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or field of study of architecture, interior design, facility design, and or space planning; or high school diploma and 15+ years related experience in interior design, facility design, and/or space planning
15 years in architecture, interior design, facility design, space planning, and/or equivalent experience
Preferred
10 years in a corporate real estate environment
