Responsibilities
Apply advanced Computer Vision engineering expertise to research and develop critical CV hardware
Design, implement, and verify complex CV systems, including hardware and firmware features
Perform architecture studies, algorithm analysis, and feature decomposition to define hardware requirements
Ensure KPIs for performance, area, and power are met
Lead triage of complex issues, identify root causes, and drive resolutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to define new architectures or enhance existing designs for mobile, automotive, IoT, and other markets
Lead CV system design and develop advanced features aligned with product roadmaps
Create detailed technical documentation and feature descriptions for complex projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience
Master's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience
PhD in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience
Preferred
Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
4+ years of experience in Computer Vision hardware and/or system design
4+ years in hardware system design, integration, schematic capture, and circuit simulation tools
4+ years programming experience (C, C++, Python), computer architecture, or embedded systems
3+ years experience in a large, matrixed organization
1+ year experience interacting with senior leadership (Director level and above)
1+ year in a technical leadership role (with or without direct reports)
