Radiation Effects Engineer, Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff

Responsibilities

Ensure mission success through proactive technical engagement and innovation
Drive technology, capabilities, and their integration into roadmaps and products
Validate and establish new engineering radiation effects processes
Mentor junior engineers and team-member

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field
15+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 13 years of job-related experience
Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph is required at time of hire
U.S. citizenship is required
Deep subject matter expertise in natural space radiation environments including modelling and analysis techniques
Expertise in radiation effects mitigation at the component and system level
Experience integrating commercial technology into high reliability, high availability space systems
Creative, innovative, and a desire to drive change
Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others

Preferred

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or Physics
