Required

Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
Strong background in mechanical engineering related to design and manufacturing, including design theory and methodology, design automation, design for manufacturing and lifecycle, design for additive manufacturing, computer-aided design, systems engineering, digital engineering, and applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) in design and manufacturing
Excellence in teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels
Ability to develop a nationally recognized, externally funded research program
Contribution to the institution and profession through service
