Responsibilities

Ability to measure thickness and identify color of material. (Ultem/Radel and others)

Ability to recognize proper sag time and engage forming cycle. Ability to recognize cosmetic defects and functional problems with configuration

Place parts in stacks on designated rolling racks. Record transactions in an accurate and timely manner

Put away molds

Rack and load in oven

Rough and finish trim excess off molds

Inspecting molds from oven

All other duties as assigned

Qualification

Basic blueprint readingUsage of torchPyrometerShop mathIdentify cosmetic defectsCommunication skillsWork independently

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum 6 months related experience

Preferred

Basic blueprint reading

Usage of torch and pyrometer

Ability to work independently and exercise judgment

Good communication skills – both verbal and written

Ability to read and follow work instructions

Understanding of shop math

Able to identify cosmetic defects in product
