2026 CareSource Summer Internship - Teaching Kitchen
CareSource is a leading healthcare organization offering a 12-week paid summer internship program for college students. The intern will support special projects and initiatives within the community teaching kitchen, enhancing operations and inventory systems while gaining real-world experience.

Responsibilities
Help enhance and elevate the community teaching kitchen
Support with sourcing and allocating kitchen supplies
Support Daily Operations of the community teaching kitchen
Build and support SERV Safe initiatives and implementation
Understand Chronic Conditions, and Meal Planning
Elevate the inventory system for community kitchen
Perform gap analysis for the operational processes to identify enhancement opportunities
Develop/enhance a standard class attendee intake system
Taking on a host of other responsibilities that our team is currently unable to fulfill
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Current Rising Junior or Senior in an accredited degree program or graduated within the last 6 months is required
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Effective listening and critical thinking skills
Dependable, flexible and ability to maintain confidential information
Effective problem-solving skills with attention to detail
