Responsibilities
Interact directly with institutional clients, winning their trust by showcasing market expertise and ensuring trades are executed and settled properly
Support sales efforts focused in North America to win new business
Expertly execute complex trades with a strict risk-first mindset
Decide how available market liquidity can meet the objectives of a trade, balancing market risk with market impact
Monitor algorithm performance, making adjustments as needed
Be available to immediately respond to changing exposures, client questions, and requests
Follow market narratives to contribute perspectives to internal research efforts
Stay updated with evolving cryptocurrency industry trends, regulatory guidelines, and best practices related to trading and settlements
Act as a brand ambassador for Anchorage Digital, participating in industry events and building a network of clients and industry peers
Deepen client interactions and execution strategies by staying up to date with themes driving market prices and liquidity
Mentor junior members of the team, ensuring they achieve expertise across processes
Qualification
Required
Ability to expertly execute complex trades with a strict risk-first mindset
Deep crypto market microstructure expertise
Comfortable using Python code as needed, and over time develop proficiency in modifying existing code
Be available to immediately respond to changing exposures, client questions and requests
Closely follow market narratives to contribute perspectives to internal research efforts
Stay updated with the evolving cryptocurrency industry trends, regulatory guidelines, and best practices related to trading and settlements
Possess a comprehensive understanding of different cryptocurrencies and their underlying technologies
Act as a brand ambassador for Anchorage Digital, participating in industry events
Stay up to date with the underlying themes driving market prices and liquidity
Have 'executive presence' when interfacing with institutional clients, prospects, and C-level executives
Act as a mentor for more junior members of the team
5-7 years experience as an OTC trader in the cryptocurrency space
Demonstrated ability to convert institutional prospects into trading clients
Preferred
You're proud of your crypto Twitter feed and ability to uncover narratives driving crypto markets and specific coins
You enjoy using memes as a method of communication
You were emotionally moved by the soundtrack to Hamilton, which chronicles the founding of a new financial system
