Responsibilities

Perform basic maintenance services related to heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, and stationary building equipment. Test, troubleshoot, make basic repairs and perform preventative maintenance, as needed
Inspect mechanical systems. Perform basic mechanical installations
Adjust and repair pneumatic systems
Operate Building Automation System
Gather proper materials and tools in preparation for jobs. Use resources effectively
Collect and record data using a Computerized Maintenance Management System, including logging daily work and preventative maintenance tasks
Assist other HVAC Mechanics with projects and repairs. Perform other trades duties, as needed
Follow all established safety rules and regulations. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment
Complete assigned work in a timely fashion. Accept feedback
Demonstrate an ability to collaborate and a willingness to learn. Participate in a supportive work environment

Required

High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
Two or more years of related experience
A comparable amount of education and experience may be substituted for the minimum requirement
Valid driver's license
CFC Type II certification (or must obtain within six months of employment)
