Responsibilities

Become a subject matter expert on shared ownership
Lead the development and execution of O.W.’s financial institutions partnership strategy to leverage the reach and influence of banks to encourage companies and investors to share ownership with employees
Build trusted relationships with O.W.’s 20+ financial institution partners
Build new partnerships to advance the shared ownership movement in alignment with the organization’s goals and strategy
Create and execute creative partner account plans to fuel engagement and retention. Account plans may include various activities, such as:
Educating investment bankers on the business case for shared ownership
Engaging commercial bankers in developing preferred lending solutions for companies with shared ownership
Hosting events with community banking teams to provide financial education to frontline workers
Working with bankers and M&A advisors to identify and cultivate a pipeline of shared ownership opportunities in industries that employ significant numbers of frontline and hourly employees, like retail, hospitality, and healthcare
Collaborate cross-functionally (Advancement, Marketing & Communications, Client Advisory Services, Finance) to execute partner account plans and deliver high-impact programs, events, and content
Track metrics to evaluate program performance and partner satisfaction
Partner with the Advancement team to design and implement partner renewal strategies
Use Salesforce to track engagement and communications
Produce high-value partner events, such as webinars, leadership roundtables, educational forums, networking and appreciation events, etc., and manage event logistics, materials, and follow-up
Partner with the Marketing & Communications team to create branded content and communications highlighting the impact of our partnerships

Qualification

Required

B.A./B.S. degree
8–10 years in partnerships, client service, or strategic relationship management
Experience in financial services and collaborating with the nonprofit sector
Passion for economic justice and the mission of Ownership Works; interest in becoming a subject matter expert in employee ownership

Preferred

Management consulting experience
Experience with Salesforce or CRM systems
