Law Practice
Responsibilities
Working for a minimum of (4) attorneys
Calendaring
Document management including but not limited to review, creation, and organization
Compiling information for discovery responses
Interrogatories
Pleadings
Motions
Depositions
Trial preparation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate. A certificate may be required based on region, state, or client requirements
At least three (3) years of litigation work experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
Strong Excel skills required
Strong organizational, written & verbal communication skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
Ability to work flexible and/or fluctuating work hours
This position has an annual billable requirement of 1,600 hours
Preferred
Three plus (3+) years insurance defense experience, preferably general liability
Well versed in Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure allowing them to independently run with a case from inception through trial, including, claim file review, records requests, drafting disclosure statements, liaising with expert witnesses, noticing depositions, preparing subpoenas, etc
