Responsibilities

Support system studies projects at various stages of their lifecycle (i.e. from the technical bid/proposal to execution, reports, client meetings/presentations, to close-out)
Perform power system studies both internal to the plant (including, but not limited to, load flow, short circuit, insulation coordination, TOV, arc flash and harmonics) and external to the plant (related to interconnection to ensure compliance with interconnection requirements as well as NERC standards)

Required

Currently enrolled in Master's or PhD program in Electrical Engineering

Preferred

Familiarity with power system studies using PSS/E, ETAP and PSCAD or other equivalents
Familiarity with applicable industry standards such as IEC, IEEE and CIGRE
