Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and grow strong broker relationships to drive both new business and renewals
Work closely with underwriting to advocate for broker and client needs
Position Safety National as the go-to solution for excess workers' compensation and other commercial lines
Identify new production sources, uncover cross-sell opportunities, and increase market share
Use tools like Salesforce to track territory activity, build a pipeline, and document key touchpoints
Build trust with broker partners, deliver results against sales goals, and ensure Safety National remains visible and engaged in the commercial insurance market

Required

A bachelor's degree is required
Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
This position allows for a hybrid work schedule which includes a minimum of 3 days per week in our Burbank, CA office. All employees are required to submit work from home requests and follow our Work From Home policy, which will be provided to all candidates selected to interview
3 or more years of commercial insurance or related industry experience
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability and willingness to travel frequently (50% or more)
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and CRM systems such as Salesforce
Experience or aptitude for insurance sales and broker development

Preferred

Experience in a production or business development role within commercial insurance
Familiarity with excess workers' compensation or other specialty lines
