The Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer is responsible for developing, testing and deploying algorithms for the GNC of unmanned aircraft.

Responsibilities

Analyze dynamical systems to understand flight physics in a novel aircraft configuration and develop frameworks and tools to quantify stability margin, handling qualities, Control authority, and mission-critical concerns across all flight phases

Work closely with test pilots to define handling and flying characteristics, participate in mission planning and scenario simulations, and provide support during flight test activities

Developing and maintaining simulation tools for dynamic aircraft systems

Implementing the hardware and software required for the navigation and communication of unmanned aircraft
