Policy & Strategy Analyst- Mid (Pipeline)

They are seeking a Policy & Strategy Analyst to shape doctrine, policy, and strategic initiatives across the Intelligence Community, providing substantive reviews, developing strategic solutions, and managing the drafting of new doctrine publications.

Responsibilities
Provide substantive review of analytic content, verifying factual information and ensuring suitability for publication
Determine product suitability for intended media and audience and edits for clear and cogent presentation of the subject matter
Identify errors of fact, factual inconsistencies, and contradictions
Develop strategic solutions in conjunction with various stakeholders to support current and future efforts
Analyze current policies to develop recommendations for strategic improvement
Develop and promote recommendations for strategic communication plans that enable organizational goals across the spectrum of initiatives
Verify the accuracy of statements, figures, illustrations, and subject matter terms
Compare illustrations, photographs, tables, and charts to ensure continuity and consistency with the text
Check citations against original sources to verify their use
Edits for adherence to analytic tradecraft standards of Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 200-series
Serve as the subject matter expert for the development of doctrine, strategic guidance, and other governance documents
Research, conceptualize, analyze, integrate, document, and publish products
Manage the drafting of new doctrine publications by using advanced writing skills to review, edit, and compile chapters and ancillary content for all scheduled publications
Advise, manage, and conduct comprehensive surveys, research, and analysis of current activities within the community to identify current practices, techniques, and procedures, with the functional role of forming the foundation of 'doctrine.'
Review and edit documents for grammar, structure, and completeness throughout the drafting of concept and/or doctrine publications
Produce periodic analytical and progress reports
Produce the analytical products necessary to support presentations, documents, and other content in support of the Joint Planning processes and/or the Joint Doctrine publication
Qualification
Required
Active TS/SCI with In-Scope CI Poly
8+ years of relevant experience (at least some within the last 2 years)
Bachelor's degree in a related field (OR) an additional 4 years of experience (total of 12 years) in lieu of a degree
Strong writing/editing chops
