Applications Analyst III- Epic Resolute
Cambridge Health Alliance is a progressive health system dedicated to serving diverse communities. The Applications Analyst III plays a crucial role in implementing and optimizing clinical, financial, and administrative software applications, particularly Epic, to enhance daily operations and user engagement.

Responsibilities
Implement, maintain, support, and maximize the use of clinical, financial, and administrative portions of the software applications
Maintain and optimize existing system applications, including Epic
Coordinate with users and vendors to test system application updates and ensure they function correctly before live deployment
Integrate new applications into the health information system according to schedule
Serve as a liaison between users and software vendors, guiding modifications to system applications to improve performance
Facilitate end-users' understanding and maximization of software use for daily operations
Collaborate with I.T. Education staff to develop specialized training and educate users on system optimization
Respond to user questions promptly, referring them to the appropriate department or person when necessary
Coordinate with Business Analysts to provide expertise in developing reporting tools
Manage IT projects in collaboration with Operational and Clinical subject matter experts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field, Information Systems, or Business Management. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
5-7 years of experience as an Application Analyst or in a similar healthcare IT role (or equivalent clinical role)
Epic Resolute experience is required, and Professional Billing certification is preferred
Significant experience working in a complex healthcare organization and deploying systems to meet user needs
Strong analytical skills
Solid understanding of EHRs and databases
Critical eye for risk analysis, monitoring, and quality assurance
Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a team-based setting to improve care systems
Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional groups and varied needs
Good written and oral communication skills
Demonstration of ongoing growth in skillsets and responsibilities
Preferred
Project management skills and experience with project management tools are strongly desired
Experience with clinical, financial, and administrative software, as appropriate to the role
