Responsibilities

Conduct inspections per applicable standards and procedures
Basic data interpretation
Prepare inspection reports and maintain traceability
Perform basic calibrations and equipment setups
Strong attention to detail and documentation
Working knowledge of flaw detection utilizing listed methods
Develop, review, and approve inspection techniques and procedures
Interpret complex radiographic and ultrasonic data to determine if process re-run is required
Perform technical audits and provide process improvement input
Train and qualify Level 1 and 2 personnel
Support root cause analysis and corrective action planning
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Experience in digital and computed radiography, and CT preferred
Strong working knowledge of codes (NAS 410, ASTM, ASME, or equivalent)

Required

Working knowledge of flaw detection utilizing listed methods
High school diploma and a minimum of 3 years of related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation
Q security clearance and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP)

Preferred

Experience in digital and computed radiography, and CT preferred
Strong working knowledge of codes (NAS 410, ASTM, ASME, or equivalent)
Certified to Level 1 in any method per NAS 410, ASNT SNT-TC-1A, or equivalent
Certified to Level 2 in any method per NAS 410, ASNT SNT-TC-1A, or equivalent
