Partner Engagement Manager
Western Union is seeking a Partner Engagement Manager to join their Consumer-to-Business (C2B) team, a critical function within their bill payments business. This role involves leading strategic negotiations with partners, managing a diverse portfolio of partnerships, and driving critical partner engagements to unlock growth and build sustainable value.

Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for all partner engagements, which will range from cold contacts to ongoing executive-level engagements
Proactively manage the agreements for partnership lifecycle including onboarding, renewals, expansions, and terminations
Negotiation planning and execution: research, opportunity sizing, scenario planning, key stakeholder identification, pitch preparation, pitching, negotiating, red-line management, signing, and execution follow-up
Advocate for partners in internal cross-functional stakeholder meetings to ensure priorities are met and issues are resolved efficiently
Analyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for intervention
Lead the end-2-end partner engagement planning, prioritization, and execution of contract renewals, expansions, and terminations
Collaborate with Sales Enablement and Marketing to develop compelling pitch materials to support negotiations and drive successful engagement outcomes
Drive internal and partner-facing readiness to ensure successful launches of partnership additions or changes
Partner closely with the North America sales team to implement agent-related initiatives
Represent the C2B product in cross-functional forums including Legal, Operations, Customer Care, KYCC, Compliance, and Sales Enablement
Analyzing current and past partner performance to prioritize partnership engagements
Conduct research on industry competitors and market benchmarks
Evaluate potential and existing billers to identify business opportunities and performance gaps
Assess marketing and promotional efforts from both internal and external stakeholders
Identify and address operational or customer experience issues in partnership with internal teams
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in product management, account management, or a related business role
5+ years of experience leading contract negotiations
Strong experience working in cross-functional environments with legal, operations, marketing, and technology stakeholders
Proven ability to manage complex relationships with executive level external partners and internal teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong executive presence
Data-driven mindset and ability to derive insights from performance metrics
Self-motivated and driven to provide a top-quality service to partners and customers
Preferred
Experience in financial services, payments, or fintech is a plus
Business development or sales experience a plus
