Murgado Ford of Chicago, a premier automotive dealership and part of the Murgado Automotive Group, is seeking a meticulous Automotive Detailer to join their dynamic team. The role involves ensuring vehicles are in pristine condition, focusing on cleaning and detailing to meet dealership standards and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Clean and detail the interior and exterior of vehicles, ensuring they meet dealership standards

Wash, wax, and polish vehicles to restore their appearance and protect the exterior

Vacuum and shampoo vehicle interiors, including carpets, seats, and upholstery

Clean windows, mirrors, and all other vehicle surfaces

Apply protective finishes to vehicles, as needed

Perform inspections to ensure all work meets dealership and customer expectations

Maintain a clean and organized work area, including detailing equipment and supplies

Report any necessary vehicle repairs or damages to the service department

Assist with other tasks, such as moving vehicles, as needed

Uphold a high standard of professionalism and customer service at all times

Qualification

Required

High school diploma or GED required

Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and efficiently

Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

A positive attitude and a strong work ethic

Preferred

Previous experience in automotive detailing or a related field is preferred but not required
