Responsibilities
Lead and evolve all finance, accounting, operations, and compliance functions for the firm and its funds
Design and implement best-in-class systems, processes, and controls to support continued growth
Oversee fund administration, management company accounting, investor reporting, and audits
Partner closely with Investor Relations on fundraising, LP communications, and capital formation
Collaborate with the investment team on deal execution and legal coordination
Manage and develop a growing operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
Work closely with the COO on strategic initiatives and firmwide infrastructure enhancements
Qualification
Required
6–10+ years of experience in venture capital in a leadership role (i.e. currently a VP/Controller/CFO for another venture firm)
Proven ability to own the finance and operations function end-to-end with minimal oversight
Deep understanding of fund structures, investor reporting, compliance, and financial controls
Strong partnership skills across investment, legal, and investor relations functions
Experience implementing scalable systems and workflows
Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability and a 'builder' mindset
Preferred
Experience with Carta or similar tools
