Software Engineer III - Azure Cloud Network Engineer

The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining public cloud networking, optimizing network architecture, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions.

Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain public cloud networking
Assess and optimize Public cloud network architecture
Migrate workloads to the public cloud following best practices
Work with Cloud engineering to deliver solutions for critical deployments
Use infrastructure migration techniques for cloud transitions
Automate continuous delivery/integration processes
Set up monitoring, logging, auditing for policy compliance
Collaborate with Development and Operations on CI/CD pipelines
Maintain accurate documentation in knowledge repositories
Monitor performance and plan network capacity
Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues
Qualification
Required
Proficient in hybrid networking environments, including connecting on-premises systems to public cloud networks
Experienced in building and deploying public cloud infrastructure using Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools
Familiar with operating and configuring cloud networks for large-scale production environments
Experience with Public Cloud components including Cloud Policies, RBAC roles, Management Groups, UDR configurations, Vnet Peerings, and Virtual Network Gateways
Skilled in ensuring large-scale cloud platform availability and reliability
Background in networking, security, distributed systems, or system-level programming
Skilled in log collection, analysis, infrastructure performance monitoring, and optimization
Capable of adapting quickly, efficient design, and producing quality software code
Able to multitask and operate effectively in dynamic environments
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area
Option 2: 4 years' experience in software engineering or related area
Preferred
Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area
Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly
Knowledge of accessibility best practices
