The UPS Store is a retail service provider specializing in shipping, printing, and mailbox services. They are seeking a Retail Customer Experience Associate to deliver outstanding customer service, consult on product offerings, and maintain a clean working environment.

Responsibilities

Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries

Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership

Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends

Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others

Maintains a clean and safe working environment

Providing consultative service utilizing retailing excellence to maximize revenue and encourage return visits

Actively selling and mastering production of print service products

Packing & shipping certification

Providing fingerprint rolling service

Providing notary public service

Becoming a retail expert in all product and service offerings by actively engaging in ongoing training

Arriving early for every shift and being prepared to help customers immediately upon clocking in

Being a “team player” with co-workers and managers

Keeping store image pristine for corporate compliance

Maintaining a clean and “customer-ready” location at all times

Required

High school diploma or GED required

Retail/customer service experience

Good communication and people skills

Able to cross sell and up sell products and services

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites

Outstanding phone skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math

Prompt, reliable, and responsible

Available on weekends

Able to lift 50 pounds without assistance regularly throughout day

Able to stand for 3.75 hours
