8+ years expATC is seeking a Senior .Net Developer to modernize custom applications for the Arkansas DFA. The role involves transitioning aging applications to web-based technologies while ensuring security and compliance.

Responsibilities
Develop complex solutions using both out of the box features as well as custom development for .Net solutions and image capture
Maintain and enhance the payment process for Operations in order to generate files to apply payments to the taxpayers accounts in AIRS
Maintain and develop packages to extract data elements into constructed data layouts
Maintain complicated applications supported by Applications Development: Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), Ad Valorem and Racing License Application
Assist state employees with .Net solutions and mentors on best practices
Minimum of eight (8) years of SQL Server installation, maintenance, and optimization experience
Experience with design and maintenance of TDE Encryption
Experience using integration services or SSIS packages to import and export data to/from SQL
Experience developing window services
Experience developing web services
Experience designing and testing disaster recovery plans
Ability to write and review VB.Net code
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience developing detailed technical infrastructure diagrams and specifications
Qualification
Required
