Supply Chain Data Analyst - BMR
Can-Am Consultants is an agile global aerospace and defense technology innovator, delivering end-to-end solutions that meet customers’ mission-critical needs. The Supply Chain Data Analyst will be responsible for developing and administering supply chain programs and tools, ensuring sourcing efforts meet business goals, and providing business analytics and reporting to support performance improvement. This role involves collaboration with functional leaders to implement strategic initiatives and maintain relationships with global supply chain partners.

Responsibilities
Responsible for developing, implementing and administering supply chain programs, tools and processes for multiple supply chain functions including commodity management, material management, procurement and subcontracts
Ensures sourcing efforts meet business goals and objectives
Works with functional leaders to perform analysis and identify areas for performance improvement
Oversees and supports implementation of strategic initiatives, as well as activities related to global sourcing, supplier selection, product delivery specifications, and quality
Establishes, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions
Develops and maintains working relationships with global supply chain partners
Designs and implements business metrics to monitor, track, and report sourcing project progress
Pull data for cost analysis
Update systems (JEDI, Agile, EXPO, etc.)
Track Country of Origin roadmaps
Deviation Waiver support
Packing list reconciliation
Navigate PowerBI dashboard for analytics
Provides business analytics and reporting to functional areas or projects/programs
Identifies and develops metrics by working with users and stakeholders to understand data visualization and reporting requirements
Translates business results into meaningful metrics and recommendations aimed at improving performance
Analyzes business processes and problems to formulate and develop recommendations to meet customer and/or internal project requirements
May be responsible for performing financial and business performance analysis
Defines configuration specifications and business analysis requirements. May partner with leaders to assess needs and define requirements
Experienced professional with proficient knowledge of job area and practical knowledge of project management
May manage projects or processes with general supervision
Communicates with contacts inside and outside of own department to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures
Recommends enhancements to systems and processes
Works to achieve operational targets for specific programs and projects with moderate impact on departmental results
Qualification
Required
2 yr AA/AS degree or in lieu of a degree with 9+ years experience / Bachelor's degree with 5+ years related experience preferred
Spend Data systems navigation; database experience
Database/data analytics experience
Supply chain background
Able to work well in a team environment
Strong communication skills
Reliable and accountable
Supply Chain / Manufacturing: 6 years (Required)
