Student Automotive Internship

City Colleges of Chicago is seeking Auto-Tech student interns for their Automotive/Collision Technology department. Responsibilities

Complete 135 hours at an approved facility (17-20 hours weekly)
Attend a one-hour and 40-minute weekly seminar class
Complete all site and class-related assignments

Qualification

Willingness to learnCollaborative work

Required

A 2.0 GPA or higher (Automotive Chairperson or Dean approval)
Do Not share the City of Chicago's (2FM) confidential forms
A complete Automotive Cooperative Learning Experience application
Attend a mandatory orientation
Completion of all required coursework (Approved by Automotive Chairperson or Dean)
Participate in a criminal background (2FM Requirement)
Participate in the City of Chicago's indebtedness check (2FM Requirement)
Participate in the City of Chicago's child support status check (2FM Requirement)
Availability of 17-20 hours per week to complete the required cooperative learning experience in a (2FM) approved facility
Currently enrolled as a full-time or part-time student at Kennedy-King College
Willingness to learn and ability to work collaboratively with the (2FM) team
