The Appliance Repair Technician will travel to customers’ locations to install and repair appliances, ensuring customer satisfaction and providing maintenance services.
Retail
Responsibilities
Respond to client requests for appliance service
Evaluate and diagnose home appliance problems
Estimate the costs of appliance repair, service, and installation
Repair appliances
Provide preventative maintenance and warranty services
Adhere to manufacturer recommendations
Teach homeowners how to operate their appliances
Maintain accurate and detailed records
Manage inventory of truck stock
Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle
Participate in the numerous training opportunities to stay on top of leading technology
Qualification
Required
High school diploma/GED
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
Excellent customer service skills
Knowledge of Microsoft products, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
Preferred
Associates degree or appliance repair certification
Previous experience as an Appliance Repair Technician
EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certification to work on air conditioners and refrigerators
