Safety & Compliance Administrative Assistant
I.B. Abel, Inc. is a company with a long history of commitment to safety and service. They are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support their Safety & Compliance department, responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance and safety standards through various administrative duties.

Responsibilities
Maintain and organize digital and physical files related to safety and compliance
Schedule and track employee safety training, certifications, toolbox talks, tailboards, LMS course completions, and other compliance documentation
Coordinate internal and third-party training events, invites, and renewals
Support the onboarding process by gathering and storing safety & training documentation, coordinating trainers, and ensuring proper record keeping
Input and maintain data in safety management systems (e.g. ISNetworld, Avetta, etc.) and customer-specific portals (e.g. OneVision, Pathwave, Unify.CMS, etc.)
Assist with preparing reports, audit responses, and other compliance documents
Work with Safety Professionals to produce any required training documentation, safety reports, or other records requested
Assist with incident reporting and investigations by organizing records, compiling form entries, and ensuring confidentiality of files
Assist with communications like bulletins, newsletters, alerts, and physical or digital signage
Assist with fleet safety & compliance administrative functions to track compliance with DOT regulations and standards
Qualification
Required
Associate degree or higher, Business Administration, Computer Science, Communications, or related field
2 or more years of administrative experience, preferably in construction, utilities, training, or safety-related role
Office experience in a fast paced environment
Familiarity with safety compliance platforms (ISN, Avetta, etc.)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Efficient and accurate data entry
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office applications
A 'can-do' attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to collaborate effectively with various teams
Local to York, Pennsylvania with occasional travel to other offices or offsite meetings (flexibility to work from home when appropriate)
