They are seeking a Senior Project Accountant to serve as a trusted advisor, providing consulting and project-based accounting services to clients while navigating complex financial landscapes.

Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted advisor to local government clients throughout Ohio
Provide consulting and project-based accounting services
Assist with financial reporting, internal control reviews, and process improvement initiatives
Offer support on technical accounting questions, compliance-related matters, GASB implementations, and other issues that arise throughout the year
Meet virtually with clients monthly or quarterly to ensure their questions are answered and to provide proactive guidance
Collaborate with a talented, people-focused team to deliver exceptional service
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3-5 years of governmental auditing experience
Strong knowledge of local government accounting and reporting
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Preferred
CPA preferred (or actively pursuing)
