Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is growing, and seeking to expand the services we are offering in our Oklahoma City, OK office. The Senior Project Manager/Principal will develop a practice focused on providing environmental engineering services and will be responsible for managing projects, mentoring junior staff, and expanding services to clients.

Responsibilities

Develop a practice focused on providing environmental engineering, site investigation/remediation, due diligence, and/or environmental compliance services to private and public sector clients

Manage and expand services to current clients and develop new business

Assemble and manage teams to develop approaches to complex projects and provide senior leadership to project teams

Guide and develop a team of environmental professionals through multi-faceted site assessment and remediation projects

Prepare technical documents and engage in regulatory negotiations, while delivering projects on time and on budget

Mentor and assist in the professional development of the environmental staff, including the performance of annual reviews and the establishment of development goals

Required

15+ years' of experience

B.S. or M.S. in Geology, or Environmental Science, Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering; M.S. preferred

Professional license; LSP, LEP, P.E. or P.G. a plus

Established clients/contacts in the Real Estate, Mining, Power, Oil & Gas, and Manufacturing client sectors

Active participation in both client- and professional development-based organizations

Expert in scope of service and budget (proposal) development, and demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably

Experience in the hiring, mentoring, and development of staff members

Ability to provide a technical review of Environmental deliverables and problem-solve in a professional setting

A recognized 'go to' person for a technical subject, and publicly demonstrates expertise through publishing or speaking on technical topics

Ability to encourage and facilitate relationships across offices, practices, and external organizations. Leverage diverse expertise to solve a range of organizational and client challenges

Excellent communication skills (speaking and writing), including experience communicating with staff, clients, contractors, and government regulatory officials
