Responsibilities

Analyze, formulate, and recommend airfield facility standards, design and space criteria, and optimal space utilization requirements using forecasts for clients in defense
Lead analyses and solution development for airfield facility planning and management for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and allies
Perform complex activities related to the control and management of cost, schedule, risk, and resource optimization
Prepare or review facilities estimates and site proposals for client review as to cost and feasibility
Advise U.S. DoD and allied customers in developing airfield plans and programs responsive to present and anticipated portfolio, facility, or individual space requirements
Recommend airfield facility and infrastructure planning, design, and construction standards or milestones

Required

5+ years of experience managing and monitoring military facility architecture and engineering projects
3+ years of experience with aircraft operational facilities and flightline infrastructure
Experience in analyzing, reviewing, and generating clear and concise technical documentation and briefings
Knowledge of DoD civil engineering policies, practices, and facilities and infrastructure procedures
Knowledge of program management, planning, and budgeting, and financial control principles
Knowledge of standard contracting regulations, practices, and procedures
Knowledge of facilities operations and maintenance
Ability to travel to CONUS or OCONUS locations up to 50% of the time
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Urban Planning

Preferred

Experience with F-35 or 5th-generation fighter aircraft operational facilities
Experience working in a flexible environment and interacting with multiple stakeholders for project success
Experience working with Microsoft Office suite
Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) Certification
