Responsibilities
Inspecting printed garments for color, registration, and print quality against CD/PDF and retained first run sample
Performing ink tests during production to ensure ink is drying and/or curing properly
Informing the Press Operator of any print issues during production
Recording any rejected garments on the job ticket
Following the company policies, procedures, safety instructions, and applicable laws
Maintaining a clean workstation and press area
Qualification
Required
Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
1-3 months of related experience and/or training
Combination of education and experience
Good judgement of color, design, and print quality
Able to read and comprehend instructions, correspondences, and memos
Able to write simple correspondences
Able to communicate effectively one-on-one and in groups with customers and other employees
Able to perform basic mathematics (add, subtract, multiply, and divide) in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Understand and carry out detailed but uninvolved written and/or oral instructions
Problem solving
Capable of using hands
Standing for long periods of time
Able to sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch for short periods of time
Able to regularly lift and/or move 25 pounds
Able to occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds
