Digital Licensing Marketing Manager

Responsibilities

Act as the primary marketing contact for select licensees, driving alignment on priorities, creative direction, and execution
Offer brand mentorship and documentation to guarantee all marketing campaigns authentically reflect Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast brands
Review, approve, and optimize licensee consumer-facing materials (trailers, key art, in-game promotions, press releases, social media)
Collaborate with licensees to develop and implement global marketing strategies for licensed digital games across multiple platforms
Collaborate with internal teams (creative, PR, legal, franchise, brand) and external partners to support licensee’s coordinated co-marketing campaigns
Compile and deliver regular updates, newsletters, and presentations summarizing marketing activity across the digital licensing portfolio
Monitor and share updates on marketing strategies, important campaign highlights, performance, and summaries with internal collaborators
Identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities to improve visibility and player engagement for licensed digital games

Required

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, related field or equivalent experience
4+ years of experience in marketing, brand management, or communications, with at least 2 years in the video game industry
Extensive expertise in digital games spanning various platforms, business models, and marketing channels
Proficient understanding of diverse marketing strategies across various channels such as digital, social media, public relations, influencer collaborations, and experiential events
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and balance multiple initiatives simultaneously, including independently
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management/marketing tools
Ability to work effectively across functions, geographies, and cultures
Passion for video games and entertainment trends
Strategic problem solver with creative troubleshooting skills
Highly collaborative and skilled in managing external partnerships
Strong attention to detail while managing large, complex projects
Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment
