FPGA Development Engineer, Annapurna Labs

Responsibilities
Develop RTL designs for FPGA based acceleration; including designs running on the accelerator service, designs for customer examples and internal accelerators
Dive deep on issues at the intersection of hardware and software. Debug and troubleshoot hardware issues and performance bottlenecks
Member of a team responsible for system remediation, operational excellence, and customer experience on bleeding edge FPGA accelerator products
Implement and improve simulation (design verification) testing across the product lifecycle
Strong skills presenting technical information verbally and in written reports
Responsible for the FPGA development life cycle which includes defining product features and performance benchmarks needed to meet customer requirements
Report on status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to management
Deliver accelerator designs as part of the SDK to external customers and FPGA developers
Review and provide feedback on hardware architecture/design/validation/verification plans
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Experience identifying bugs in architecture, algorithms, functionality, and performance with strong overall debugging skills
Experience verifying at multiple levels of logic from IP blocks to SoCs to full system testing
Develop RTL designs for FPGA based acceleration; including designs running on the accelerator service, designs for customer examples and internal accelerators

Master's degree in Electrical or Communications Engineering or a related field
Experience with formal verification techniques including abstraction and end-to-end checking
Experience with ARM and various DSP ISAs
Experience with current and upcoming RF standards in cellular (4G/5G NR), WiMAX, 802.11ad, microwave backhaul, or related broadband wireless standards
Experience with industry standard tools and scripting languages (Python or Perl) for automation
