Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for technicians and contractors, providing daily operational support
Ensure accurate master data in onboard tracker, including certificate validation
Conduct onboarding for new independent contractors, demonstrating fluency in company policies and systems
Assist with new project kick-offs, including travel to work sites for kick off meetings
Collaborate with Recruiting/HR, Training, and Travel departments
Participate in candidate interviews and help build a team of wind turbine professionals
Interface with customers on-site to understand expectations and provide technical support
Communicate internal updates regarding company policies and news
Support field technicians and resolve administrative or operational issues
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture aligned with industry standards
Travel nationally up to 50% to support project goals
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of experience managing people, preferably in a field operations or technical environment
Proven experience in the wind industry, with at least 5 years of wind turbine field work
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively support and lead field teams
Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Skilled in database management and record keeping
Commitment to safety and environmental compliance
Candidates must currently reside in the Houston area
