Responsibilities

Leads the design and architecture of secure and scalable VSI solutions for the entire enterprise
Design, development, implementation and support of the VSI environment
Manages data collection, reporting, and trending for critical devices and components
Participates in, and leads as needed, technical implementation projects and initiatives
Assess emerging industry trends; anticipate and develop strategic solutions
Provides Tier III support for all infrastructure components
Makes technical decisions regarding the configuration of IT solutions. Depending on scope some decisions will require collaboration and approval by the Supervisor or Director depending upon severity
Perform data analysis of complex systems and ensuring the ongoing optimization of those systems
Coordinates installation of new equipment, technologies and processes for projects
Mentor and guides other team members
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree required
5 or more years of relevant experience required
Advanced certification obtained within 2 years of hire required such as VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization, VMware Certified Advanced Professional – Data Center Virtualization Design or VMware Certified Advanced Professional – Data Center Virtualization Deploy
Strong experience with enterprise infrastructure including the configuration and management of hypervisors, backup platforms, and storage devices
Ability to solve/troubleshoot the most complex problems
Creative thinking and the ability to be agile
Expert ability to complete data analysis of complex systems
Ability to collaborate with others within the business including IT and Clinical team members
