Responsibilities

Responsible for using a forklift or other equipment to load, unload, move, stack and stage materials
Cleaning responsibilities include washing, stripping, waxing and polishing marble, wood parquet, tile and cement floors; cleaning and vacuuming carpeted floors; cleaning marble, wood and painted walls and ceilings; cleaning windows, courtyard furniture and wall treatments
Collects and disposes of trash, recyclables and burn bags
Cleans and restocks restrooms
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

A high school diploma is required
Prior building support experience is required
Forklift certification is required to maintain employment
Must be able to work on ladders at varying heights
In-depth knowledge of building support services and materials including the safe handling and use of industrial cleaners and solvents
Ability to work with heavy cleaning equipment, e.g. hand buffers, scrubbers, waxers and polishers, floor strippers, and rug cleaners
Ability to follow oral and written instructions with minimal supervision
