BASE SERVICES MANAGER (TITLE 32)
USAJOBS is seeking a Base Services Manager (Title 32) for the FL 125th FW National Guard. The role involves ensuring combat readiness through the analysis, supervision, development, and implementation of Base Services programs, as well as managing personnel resources and training requirements.

Responsibilities
Ensure services combat readiness is achieved through the analysis, supervision, development, and implementation of Base Services programs, missions, functions, activities, and events
Perform evaluation of unit manning document (UMD) and flight force structure to ensure personnel resources are identified, recruited, filled, retained, and employed
Analyze designed operational capability (DOC) statements, status of skill-level and ancillary training for assigned personnel and availability and condition of required equipment
Provide recommendations to senior staff for submission and up channeling of readiness reports
Develop, accomplish, and submit critical program reviews and status reports via chain-of-command and readiness reporting systems in accordance with National Guard Bureau (NGB) and Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) combat requirements
Research, verify, and implement MAJCOM initiatives to maintain consistency with Total Force requirements
Develop, publish, and/or supervise accomplishment of tactical/strategic training plans and operating instructions to optimize readiness posture in changing combat environment
Qualification
Required
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
LL.M
General knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration
Experience using computer and automation systems
At least 1 year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level
Experience developing and recommending policy
Experience organizing and carrying out specific programs
Experience evaluating and recommending changes in methods of operations
Experience in supervisory, staff or technical work which included study, analysis or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of managerial or administrative policies, practices and procedures
Experience preparing written communications and oral presentations
Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed
Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel
