Responsibilities

Coordinate training on organizational security policy and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act compliance
Ensure compliance with data security policies and relevant legal or regulatory requirements
Develop contingency plans designed for computer security emergency response, backup, and recovery operations
Ensure compliance with cyber security program implementation plan
Perform tests for illegal input or unauthorized access
Direct cyber security program for computer systems, network issues, and electronic transactions

Required

One year of specialized experience which includes providing technical support; developing guides and reference material for training and user instruction; and ensuring software and hardware is compliant with the latest security configuration
The specialized experience must include, or be supplemented by, information technology related experience which demonstrates each of the four competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, and Problem Solving
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree from an accredited or pre-accredited institution in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management
Ability to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment
Achieve the appropriate Information Assurance certification within six months of assignment of these duties

Preferred

Preferred certification is IAM Level II or Level III
