Responsibilities

Ensure Information Systems comply with legal and regulatory requirements

Analyze trends to provide instruction and orientation services

Identify network requirements for specific needs of customers

Work with technical support personnel in resolving complex problems

Maintain problem resolution database to facilitate future problem resolution

Provide training to ensure users understand the interrelationships of the system and are able to operate the system

Required

One year of specialized experience which includes providing technical support; developing guides and reference material for training and user instruction; and ensuring software and hardware is compliant with the latest security configuration

Experience must include, or be supplemented by, information technology related experience which demonstrates each of the four competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, and Problem Solving

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree from an accredited or pre-accredited institution in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management

Three full years of graduate education from an accredited or pre-accredited institution that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems, or networks

Ability to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment
