AEGIS Waterfront On Site Installation Coordinator

Responsibilities
You will lead AEGIS/Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (ABMD) Weapon System Computer Program installations and provide Technical Direction and problem solving for Fleet issues
You will oversee and lead teams installing AEGIS or Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense Weapon Systems Computer Programs at various locations around the globe
You will provide senior technical guidance on-site, underway, and distance support by performing checkout and troubleshooting of installed weapon system computer programs and equipment interfaces
You will provide senior-level expertise and advice to division personnel in the performance of a variety of technical to Aegis and Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense Combat Systems
You will lead junior level technicians in the Fleet Support Group and mentor junior engineers in the employment and application of AEGIS combat systems
You will lead government and contract teams at meetings and reviews
Qualification
Required
Must be a US Citizen
Must be determined suitable for federal employment
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program
New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check
Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level
Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326
Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites
This position may require work onboard ships and the ability to maneuver on ship ladders
Your resume must demonstrate at least 1 year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalency) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing technical guidance or expertise in the installation, troubleshooting, or operation of defense combat systems
Your resume must demonstrate at least 1 year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalency) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing technical support in the installation, troubleshooting, or operation of defense combat systems
