Responsibilities

Drives one or more types of passenger buses which carry 16 or more passengers (youth and adult)

Drives predetermined and/or scheduled routes or special runs such as field trips to educational/historic locations and recreation events/facilities both on and off the installation

Performs operator maintenance, such as checking fluid levels and air pressure in tires, cleaning and washing of vehicles and performing inspection checklist

Performs grounds maintenance work such as mowing, weeding, watering and trimming

Makes repairs to walls, doors, windows, floors

Makes minor repairs and adjustments to various furnishings

Required

Must possess an appropriate, valid driver's license as required by local/state and maintain a current CDL license

Experience which demonstrates knowledge of and skill in operating buses capable of carrying 16 or more passengers

Knowledge of traffic and safety regulations, practices and procedures pertaining to motor vehicle operation (buses)

Knowledge of passenger safety rules

Knowledge of the proper use and routine operator maintenance of hand tools and equipment

Must possess an appropriate, valid driver's license as required by local/state law and maintain a current CDL license

Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position

U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation or a signed memorandum indicating the installation's decision on the 3-year residency requirement
