Responsibilities

The incumbent is responsible for planning and carrying out data-driven research projects that call for leading computational and predictive analytic procedures applied to large administrative and medical record databases

Responsible for overseeing the work of the research project staff

The incumbent will contribute to the educational program and training of post-doctoral fellows working with big data analytic procedures

They will contribute to translational activities that derive from research using predictive analytic and computing procedures

This position may initiate and conduct their own original research projects and provide consultation to other investigator's ongoing projects and research proposals

Only education or degrees recognized by the U.S. Department of Education from accredited colleges or institutions may be used to qualify for Federal employment

Bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree: major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position

Must be proficient in written and spoken English

Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959
