Sr. Data Analyst - Asset Protection

This role is responsible for analyzing retail data to identify trends and support decision-making processes, as well as creating dashboards and tools for Asset Protection partners.

Responsibilities

Perform data gathering tasks and analytics - identify trends, develop solutions, project/strategy planning and data utilization

Produce documents for teams and leadership to review and utilize. Deliver presentations to teams and executive leaders and sponsors. Synthesize findings and make recommendations to upper management

Must be eighteen years of age or older

Must be legally permitted to work in the United States

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job

Preferred

Strong project management and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail, supported by a background in consulting or project management methodologies

Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, including statistical analysis, data interpretation, and problem-solving

Proficiency in SQL (e.g., BigQuery, MySQL, DB2) and Python for data extraction, manipulation, and automation

Experience leveraging AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to drive efficiency and derive insights

Familiarity with data governance best practices, including documentation and version control

Advanced Tableau skills for designing impactful dashboards that communicate key messages effectively

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Strong understanding of merchandising, retail operations, field operations, and Asset Protection principles and practices

Demonstrated leadership attributes, including the ability to influence and drive results without direct authority, lead high-performing teams, and foster collaboration

Customer service mindset with a focus on understanding and meeting internal stakeholder needs

Effective communicator with the ability to deliver presentations to teams, executive leaders, and sponsors, clearly articulating complex analyses and implications

Commitment to self-development, team knowledge sharing, and deepening understanding of internal customer needs

Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
