As a Senior Director Analyst in the Cloud Infrastructure practice, you will leverage your knowledge of IT Public Cloud technologies to support clients in their cloud strategies and best practices for migrating to public cloud platforms.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with a team of experienced analysts and advisors to produce authoritative research and guidance addressing the priorities of cloud service provider clients
Serve as an expert on technology markets, buyer behavior, and local market factors (including regulatory and compliance issues) that impact cloud service delivery in the US
Develop 'how-to' research and advice on best and emerging practices for technology buyers and sellers
Support sales and client service teams in delivering insights to clients and prospects
Present cloud services research and thought leadership in various forums, including client presentations and Gartner events
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred
12+ years of relevant industry experience
Experience as a Head of Infrastructure & Operations, or direct reporting to such a role
Strong knowledge of business, technology, channel, and go-to-market strategies
Direct experience with major vendors (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, IBM)
Proven track record in developing cloud selection and adoption strategies, including key issues, vendors, partners, and best practices
Deep understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Services markets, including hyperscaler strengths and the competitive landscape for IT services
Demonstrated CxO presence and credibility with executives and stakeholders, with expertise in advising on mission-critical priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, and presentation skills; ability to engage clients and respond effectively to questions
Strong organizational skills; ability to meet tight deadlines and produce high-quality deliverables
Self-motivated with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
