Negotiator, Media Activation
Mediabrands is a global media company that focuses on generating value for business partners. The Negotiator, Activation is responsible for negotiating and activating national video and radio budgets, while collaborating with various teams to ensure client objectives are met.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain media partner relationships, negotiate pricing that reflects clients’ objectives and efficiencies
Manage stewardships of media buys
Run research reports to analyzing data and track media results
Ensure buying guidelines are met
Reconcile discrepancies and monitor monthly deadlines
Train, mentor and oversee the Assistant Negotiator
Provide POV’s on advertising/media trends and publish recaps
Assist in managing added value execution, including solicitation from vendors, analysis of value
Qualification
Required
Solid negotiating skills and experience collaborating with Strategy/Planning teams
Proven problem-solving ability
Able to work as part of a team in a deadline-driven, high-pressure environment
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and multi-tasking capabilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
Knowledgeable in media math
Proficient with MBox or equivalent Inventory Management system
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Energetic self-starter with a strong work ethic and integrity as well as positive interpersonal skills
