Responsibilities

Solve complex electrical problems using off-the-shelf parts as well as the ability to develop custom solutions

Create solutions using techniques spanning a variety of engineering disciplines including power distribution, RF design, logic/controls, and custom analog and digital circuit design

Use test equipment such as VNAs, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, network analyzers, and lab power supplies/loads

Create detailed block diagrams to define top level systems as well as lower level sub assemblies

Document and release designs using KiCAD, SolidWorks Electrical, Visio, or similar

Work collaboratively with project team(s) to formulate innovative solutions to complex problems and products across a broad range of applications

Required

Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a STEM discipline from an ABET accredited school with 4+ years of direct applicable experience or MS degree with 2+ years of relevant experience

Position requires demonstrated expertise in design work using a CAD package similar to SolidWorks and SolidWorks Electrical

Strong understanding of electrical system level design

Ability to design for rapid prototyping and fabrication in a dynamic environment

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance

Candidate must be a resident of or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area
