Responsibilities

Provide the vision and engineering leadership to redefine how Cloudflare engages with the developer community in the age of AI
Lead and mentor our existing high-performing team of developer advocates, educators, and community managers, guiding their evolution and impact
Operate with 'startup energy'—acting with autonomy and hunger to carry significant responsibility and drive our developer GTM strategy
Champion the developer experience, engaging with peers across Product and Engineering to translate community feedback into a world-class platform
Act as a key evangelist and storyteller, articulating a compelling and optimistic vision for the future of development on Cloudflare
Cultivate a passionate, hard-working, and collaborative culture, inspiring your team to overcome challenges and innovate

Required

Proven experience in a senior engineering leadership role (e.g., VP of Engineering, CTO), having built and scaled products and teams
An entrepreneurial spirit and 'startup energy,' with a history of building things, whether in a successful venture or a passionate side project
A deep empathy for developers and an understanding of the fundamental shifts happening in technology, especially around AI and LLMs
Exceptional storytelling ability with the passion and excitement to inspire both internal teams and the external developer community
The ability to thrive in a highly autonomous environment, comfortable with ambiguity and defining your own path forward
A genuine optimism and resilience to navigate challenges and lead with a can-do attitude
