Responsibilities
Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of incoming parts, raw materials, and assemblies against drawings, specifications, and established quality standards
Prepare and maintain measurement and testing records, making data available for further analysis and reporting
Generate first article inspection reports
Review and verify supplier-provided certifications (e.g., Certificates of Conformance, material certifications, test reports)
Assist with the setup and validation of new test equipment and measurement tools
Support the ongoing maintenance and calibration of inspection tools and equipment
Support audits (internal, customer, or regulatory) by providing inspection records and evidence of compliance
Assist with automated part program Qualifications
Perform material and product inspections in alignment with inspection plans, work instructions, and internal quality guidelines
Initiate timely escalations and collaborate with cross-functional teams when nonconformances or failures are identified
Contribute to continuous improvement that enhances the inspection processes and overall product quality
