Principal Engineer, Enterprise Applications

Responsibilities
Identify and solve for the most impactful issues in the organization and partner with other organization teams to create both short-term and long-term solutions
Provides continuous improvement in the operational processes by introducing more innovation and automation
Collaborate with team members and leadership to execute strategic goals and objectives. Partner in defining longer term plans, priorities, and goals
Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies, streamline process and implement best practices
Work with peers and other departments in the architecture, infrastructure, and security groups in defining roadmaps, setting goals, and providing updates
Engage actively across IT as an expert technical resource, mentor, and principal advisor
Research, implement and maintain new technology that provides value to department and company
Work closely with management to ensure that quality, budgetary, and regulatory requirements are being successfully monitored and met across the Client Computing team
Support the company’s commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data
Qualification
Required
Education and experience typically obtained through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems/Computer Science
Minimum 10 years' progressive direct or related experience
Proven relevant industry experience and a proven track record of expertise in the management of end user technology with a demonstrated progression of responsibilities
Demonstrated ability to lead through influencing and facilitating cross-functional teaming to realize outcomes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
Hand-on experience troubleshooting and management with Windows and OS environments
Background and drug screen

Preferred
Additional related education and/or experience preferred
Competency in a wide range of desktop technologies including, but not limited to: MS Windows, Apple OS, Active Directory, User and Group Management, and MS Office suite
Experience with collaboration tools such as Zoom and MS Teams
