They are seeking an Aircraft Structures Technician to perform essential sheet metal operations and maintain equipment, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Responsibilities

Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, cutting on airframe components

Application and removal of sealant, sound deadening and finish materials

Maintenance, cleaning and repair of shop facilities, equipment and tooling when required

Safely operate shop equipment such as: brakes, presses, riveting equipment, shears, and hand tools associated with sheet-metal functions

Basic computer skills to be able to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance data bases

Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English

Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Required

Basic to advanced knowledge of aircraft structures

Ability to read blueprints

Ability to work from drawings

Knowledge of fastening systems, procedures and techniques
